  • Clean Operating Room Classification Standards:

Class 100 (Ultra-clean) is suitable for operating rooms performing heart surgery, organ transplantation, artificial joint replacement, and other surgeries with high sterility requirements.

Class 1000 (Standard Clean) is suitable for Class I surgeries in orthopedics, plastic surgery, and general surgery.

Class 10000 (General Clean) is suitable for surgeries in thoracic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, and gastroenterology.

Class 100000 (General Clean) is suitable for infection surgeries, outpatient surgeries, and emergency surgeries.

Clean operating rooms are divided into two areas: the operating area and the non-operating area. The operating area is divided into operating rooms and auxiliary rooms. The layout of the clean operating room includes a clean corridor to prevent cross-infection and separate clean and dirty flows. It can also serve as a viewing corridor to reduce the number of people entering and leaving the operating room and minimize air disturbance. Separated by the viewing corridor, the operating room doors do not directly lead to the outside, reducing outdoor air pollution of the operating room and facilitating cleaning of the operating room's fixed windows.
